@Lisa_Winfeld If it's for a "legit" (I know, I have trouble associating that word with Trump-world myself) political campaign, it's likely exempted from being considered spam, along with religious organization communications. Depending on the jurisdiction, fire/police union solicitations might also be permitted. Political & religious comms are specifically exempted from the FCC "Do Not Call" provisions though - unless it's changed recently.

@mcfate Let me just say I'm probably a bit more pessimistic than usual after this week. But honestly - I don't know that we CAN fix it. I think the past 4 years did far more damage than previously realized... and I'm really starting to fear that what we're seeing now are the opening salvo's of a second civil war. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing incidents in the near future like a mass hospital shooting of unvaxxed COVID patients or serious clashes between anti/pro mask/vaxxers. 😩
