Rant:
I strongly dislike the whole "rate & review" system. When I buy a product or service, I pay money, I don't agree to give you my opinion. If I get extra good service I tip excessively, if it is an outstanding product, I buy more, and tell others. The algorithms have turned us all onto lazy and very shity critics. The machine demands an opinion. There is a place for criticism, in long form, but it ain't 1 to 5 stars.

Case in point:
Two months ago I had surgery, today I received an e-mail asking to rate my surgeon. WTF?
I spent at most 30 minutes talking to him, I was fucking unconscious during his work. I have never had that surgery before, and will never have it again, and they want me to give him stars. I'm incredulous. The whole system is broken beyond repair. The Luddites had some very good ideas.
