Finally got around to seeing The Marvels. Honestly, going in with no expectations and tired of Marvel, I was pleasantly surprised. Witty, great acting, hilarious mid-movie joke on the parent company, and of course Kamala's family.

Villain was weak and had missed opportunities, but I think it's hard to make a villain really interesting with the strong central cast.

I'd put it definitely above average for Marvel films. Felt more like a TV show in a good way - intimate despite the scope.

Despite the push from MSM, I am not voting for President based on age, gender, gender identity, physical abilities, religion, sexual orientation, or weight. I vote based on policy leadership. POLICY LEADERSHIP. The idea that I would vote for a racist, misogynist, anti-climate non-environmentalist, anti-science, xenophobic, anti-reproductive freedom fool JUST BECAUSE he/she is younger is absurd.

A weird thing I realized about the right's obsession with acting as if Biden is old and feeble-minded - and the bullshit they spread.

They all KNOW it's bullshit, everyone knows this is politics. Which is why, bizarrely, you'll see this repeated and then forgotten until next time.

Besides, when you have Trump out here beclowning himself every day, it becomes harder by contrast.

But the fact we're so busy knowningly lying to each other is sad.

Three blackouts in three days. At least the latest was only a few minutes.

Anyone else know a good source of clipart thats free, royalty-free, and useful both personal and commercial?

Jim Jordan is a weak, pathetic, powerless, bootlicking fu¢kstain who can do nothing to stop what Fani Willis is about to do to Donald Trump.

I think there's not enough discussion over the possibility we invented social media before societies were able to handle the impact.

A reminder right now that supporting your local news is vitally important.

One of the funniest things I've seen about the tech industry.

Realized I haven't posted here as much as I did on Twitter.

Then realized I didn't feel compelled to.

It's weird discovering my motivations again without toxic social media.

A look at how people build businesses to back OUT of bad tech decisions, how we normalized it, and some food for thought. stevensavage.com/blog/2024/01/

OK Episode one of Delicious in Dungeon on Netflix. Captured the feel of the manga, nicely slow paced, voice cast is very solid, visuals good. Promising start.

I do believe we humans can and will one day leave the planet. But we're gonna be stuck here for many centuries because some greedy billionaire techbros think they can make more money figuring how to wire NFTs into your Microwave with Bluetooth to make fart noises.

I speculate on trechnology trends, why they may be amplifying over time, and a bit of what may be next. stevensavage.com/blog/2024/01/

I do a cultured rant about how technology and middlemen have resulted in an abstraction where so much of everything now means nothing. stevensavage.com/blog/2024/01/
