Great concert last night - Prokoviev (Kije), Kodaly (Peacock Variations) and the Rachmaninov 3rd Piano Concerto played by Edmonton own young brilliant pianist who just won the Leeds competition. Here he is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtcdw9bTj9w
Great meal and talk at the Little Club last night - Royal Mayfield does a terrific job of feeding us. Concert tonight (Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto 3!). Daytime music:
A funeral today for a gifted lawyer who died - from brain cancer. She was 50 and headed for great things. Daughter of close friends. Music for a sad day:
Show and tell this am and then lunch with colleagues and a flight home. Watched Wolf's on the way out (fun) and listened to this wonderful musician
