In this City, the Edmonton Oilers are the topic of talk. First team in hockey history since 1945 to come back from being 3 games down to force a game 7 in the Stanley Cup and they have a really good chance of beating Florida tonight, given their performance in the last 3 games. Lets hope they do. Some music to calm the nerves:
Great concert last night - one of the best of this Edmonton Symphony season. Dvorak Cello Concerto, Schumann 3rd Symphony and a lovely piece by our own trombone player. Given that the Edmonton Oilers were playing a cup final game (which they won 8-1) attendance was very good. The cellist in the Dvorak was simply outstanding, as he is in this CD recording.
