Started working on the first proper thrifting video of the year with 100% more outside footage than the previous several 😄 Here's a link to my thrifting playlist till then: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQC

Did not find anything on this thrifting run, except for this German language version of The Silmarillion. I didn't get it cause I don't speak the language and also I'm not THAT big of a fan of LOTR. A German version of DUNE on the other hand, that's a different grade of personal interest :)

A fresh week begins anew, anyone got any cool plans? I am planning on doing a thrifting run today cause it's gonna be a sunny 16 degrees so it's focking great biking weather

Only jump into this video if you're either into city-builders or interested in gaming history in general, cause otherwise it might not be for you 🙂 I go through 37 city-building titles from the past 30 years.

It just dawned on me that dropping a vid on May the 4th that isn't related to Star Wars might not be the brightest idea in the universe. My video on the city-building iceberg will be live later today. It's a Premiere, so you can join me for a live chat while we watch. Trust me, it's way better than The Phantom Menace, which to be honest, is not saying much.

@Mistermattguy I generally play 10-20 year old games, so these are positively new by my standards :)

Apparently I'm in the mood to play 5-year old games lately. First Into The Breach - youtu.be/SNpRdZRyRIo - now Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs :D

The Premiere for my longest and most boring video yet, is UP! It also has a trailer so if you enjoy the trailer, you'll most likely enjoy the video, if you don't, then this video is just not for you. youtu.be/GKbsuWm_IEE

One-phrase reviews: Cultures is a great game but painfully slow on a TKL keyboard :))

Am currently working on what will be by far, my longest AND most boring video yet! :D

Even though I've been focusing on games of my youth for the past year+, that doesn't mean I completely stopped playing new(er) things :) This is my analysis of what I call "kaiju chess" aka Into The Breach Advanced Edition. youtu.be/SNpRdZRyRIo

The thumbnail for tomorrow's video is possibly the funniest one I ever made, so that means it will BOMB, mainly because it's a conceptual thumbnail that DOES NOT include ANY part of the game I'll be covering. This is why my channel doesn't grow!

The meowgic of green screens! Or, DIY A4 papers scotch taped to the wall, in my case :D

the more editing passes I do on this video, the more I find things to tweak :)) Creating never ends, one just has to decide when a thing is good enough, ship it and advance to the next thing.

Decided on doing a daily public service announcement, letting people know about the YouTube Community Tab. Most of your favorite creators have one and a fair few of them also use it to post any number of updates, images, polls and assorted whatnot. Likewise I use it a lot and would like more of you to be aware of its existence!

I reference three movies from three different decades in my upcoming review... I'm quite happy with that :)

I just randomly stumbled onto the poster for the 1983 Lucio Fulci fantasy movie called Conquest and when I saw the dude in the lower left I immediately thought of Castlevania's cover. So inspiration taken from the poster or just coincidence?

It never ceases to amaze me how much shorter trips seem when the environment isn't trying to actively kill you. Today was the first day of the year when I went out of my building and the air that hit my face was not only not cold, but it was mildly lukewarm... fucking finally.

Ever considered of getting Retro Gamer magazine? Hopefully this helps with that :) youtu.be/KMQv5RhYpFE
