Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is a fresh-ish EA title that feels less like Skyrim than it looks - at least initially, and also I haven't played Skyrim in more than a decade. But I am enjoying my time in it and in the setting. Abilities improve with use, is what I'm saying and level points apparently can go either into base stats or perks. Mind you, only played it for 90 mins so it can still turn into grindy drudgery but also maybe not...
