What do you do when you have less than 2 days to prep a tabletop RPG sesh for a party of complete newbies with your own incomplete narrative-focused system? Steal, you steal quest ideas from cRPGs :))

I'm finding that occasional, extended weekend holidays away from my usual activities are great mental resets. I usually come out of them with more and clearer ideas than when I went into them.

As for the Fremen show, smth focused on the day-to-day life of deep desert fremen, pre Atreides takeover would be interesting. Dodging Harkonnen patrols, backstabbing smugglers, there's potential for action and adventure as well :)

@Absinthe Any adaptation to a different medium will be some form of incomplete. What matters is how true to the spirit of the original the adaptation stays. In terms of #DUNE I'd love to see a fremen perspective focused around the ecology angle. The latest DUNE: Spice Wars game is pretty cool as well ;)
