Random photo of the Forgotten Realms-set PC games I have collected over the past year, since starting my physical video game collection :)

Started working on the first proper thrifting video of the year with 100% more outside footage than the previous several 😄 Here's a link to my thrifting playlist till then: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQC

Did not find anything on this thrifting run, except for this German language version of The Silmarillion. I didn't get it cause I don't speak the language and also I'm not THAT big of a fan of LOTR. A German version of DUNE on the other hand, that's a different grade of personal interest :)

It just dawned on me that dropping a vid on May the 4th that isn't related to Star Wars might not be the brightest idea in the universe. My video on the city-building iceberg will be live later today. It's a Premiere, so you can join me for a live chat while we watch. Trust me, it's way better than The Phantom Menace, which to be honest, is not saying much.

Apparently I'm in the mood to play 5-year old games lately. First Into The Breach - youtu.be/SNpRdZRyRIo - now Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs :D

One-phrase reviews: Cultures is a great game but painfully slow on a TKL keyboard :))

The meowgic of green screens! Or, DIY A4 papers scotch taped to the wall, in my case :D

Decided on doing a daily public service announcement, letting people know about the YouTube Community Tab. Most of your favorite creators have one and a fair few of them also use it to post any number of updates, images, polls and assorted whatnot. Likewise I use it a lot and would like more of you to be aware of its existence!

I just randomly stumbled onto the poster for the 1983 Lucio Fulci fantasy movie called Conquest and when I saw the dude in the lower left I immediately thought of Castlevania's cover. So inspiration taken from the poster or just coincidence?

Been playing a fair bit of this game lately. Still playing the same session I played during the stream, btw and it is wonderfully slow and steady. At least the way I play it :))

Hot take on a couple of 30-year old albums: The second half of Metallica’s LOAD is a slog to listen to. It’s filler made of a few ultra-polished and over-produced good sonic ideas that just doesn’t make for a continuously pleasurable listening experience. ReLOAD is the overall superior album, as far as I’m concerned. A likewise strong first half but with deep cuts that I still thoroughly enjoy to this day. Give a listen to Where the Wild Things Are, Slither and Devil’s Dance.

just finished the Dawn of War 2 vanilla campaign, next is the much more narratively-interesting Chaos Rising expansion campaign

Smth I am enjoying right now is Age of Wonders, and I can't for the life of me, understand why I didn't play it more in its time. Really looking forward to covering it on the channel in 2023!

Seeing how by far MOST of my gaming happens on games from GOG (and on Origin) these are a very small fraction of this year's s.team/y22/dmjjhhg

The last time I had a contemporary, "cutting edge" video card was the winter of '04. Mind you, this is last year's generation but it's a gigantic upgrade over what I had previously and all thanks to my patrons and the people who watched my videos w/o adblockers. I expect this to serve me for the next decade or so :)

Regarded as one of the best video games ever, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis isn't as enjoyable to play today as it was thirty years ago.
