Hot take on a 30-year old game: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is a really great game that is rendered almost unplayable by a modern audience due to the adventure mechanics of the time. I would've dropped it a long time ago if I wasn't going to do a video on it. #gaming #pointandclick

One of the BIG real time strategy city builder series that come from that period of gaming history, is Settlers. And despite city building games being one of my favorite genres, as well as a focus for my channel, I never got around to playing any of the titles till relatively recently and the title that was suggested to start with was Settlers 2. I did not have the OG version on hand though, so I played the 3D engine remake of the 10th Anniversary Edition. #gaming

It has been quite the trip, going through every major Impressions city builder which started quite unexpectedly back in 2017 when I simply wanted to replay Caesar 3 because I had just gotten back into city builders thanks to Banished. Probably not, but maybe.

It’s impossible to estimate the sheer weight of the hours upon hours of time I spent with this game. Civilization 2 is one of the BIG video games in my gaming history. It was the first ever video game I got that occupied AN ENTIRE CD - pirated, of course 😉 I dream of finding a proper big box version of it eventually - that I can afford - but I am more than satisfied with getting as many newer versions of it as I can till that point in time. #gaming #retrogaming #retrocollecting #collecting
