In one of my college courses we did a multi-week study of Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning." It was such a tiny book with huge lessons. The biggest of which for me is:

Your power is in your control of your own emotional response no matter the external factors outside of your control.

So I'm choosing to find happy moments because I refuse to let someone else define me or my frame of mind these days

Will be pinning this to remind my future self of this lesson if that gets hard

It's a sad state of affairs in our country when a prescription for non estrogen birth control pills costs $600+. I'm sure with a discount card it will go lower but damn that's just no bueno.
