Took the dog for a long mosey this morning, winding through some secret trails that take me past small sheltered waterways
Someone in a home nearby had piano music playing--soft holiday tunes that wafted through an open window and carried across the water
the peace of the moment was profound
and reminded me again that the smallest things we do might bring goodness to unknown others

Y'all, I have no idea what's hit me but I have a general malaise, stomach cramps, and heavy fatigue.
But the odd thing is as tired as I am, I can't get my brain to shut off and let me sleep through the ick, which is my go to tactic.
So hope it's just a 24 hr bug 🤞

Y'all, it's been a week of Mondays. Thanks to everyone who's sharing wonderful, interesting and cute things I've been able to catch in spare moments.
You have no idea how those moments of peace, smiles, interesting thoughts , etc.have helped me hang in there and be ready for my 5th Monday of the week, also known as FriYay 😊

1941 - Pearl Harbor, located on the Hawaiian island of Oahu was attacked by nearly 200 Japanese warplanes.
The attack resulted in the U.S. entering into World War II.
The Boyz and I pause today to pay homage to our brothers and sisters in arms who died this day 82 years ago.
God Bless the USA...

CoSo Family…. Help please 🙏
I got word through the friend grapevine that my friend @KristiJ is in the hospital again. I don’t know any facts except that she’s in bad shape and won’t be able to return to her apartment again. She has advanced MS and really can’t walk. I don’t know how she’s managed until now since her last hospitalization after a fall.
Please send her thoughts for strength, healing, and that those around her will treat her with love & the best care. ❤️💔🩷
Y'all, I read yesterday they found the cause of Parkinson's... it's a gut bacteria. Scientists think they can treat it better and eventually cure it now that they know cause. We thought Dad had this for a while but it turned out to be water in his brain. So thankful this could give hope to so many families 😊

I am trying out a new program for, writing, note taking, outlining, and many other text based operations. I was drawn to it because at its core are flat text files stored in .md format (Markdown). This allows zero lock in as .md files can be read by any text editor.
It has a user extendable architecture and many folks are writing add-ons for it.
Obsidian is the private and flexible writing app.
For all platforms, including Linux, and phones.
