I am going to get to dog sit tomorrow and I'm excited for us and Athena (the dog). She lives in an apartment so her exercise is often on a lead so I'll let her run the back yard and play in the kiddy/dog pool if she wants. 🐕

Good day. Squeak is now checking the rest of the house to claim as hers. This is new for all of us including her. She prefers her own space and may have just realized it's much larger #caturday #catsofcoso

Today was hard having the first morning without a menagerie to feed. I fed Squeak and played with her and the news night suggested I finish with a treat.

Today's news is kind of enjoyable. I'll take it.

@Minholkin it's been a tough week for sure! The hardest part is over and we have good memories of our furry family members to help us through.

Dinner will be a little lonelier now. Gizmo and all his extra beans left today surrounded by his whole family. We're all in a fog but relieved our elderly pets are no longer suffering.

@kenc313 so so sorry. That is very hard. Please take care of yourself. We lost one that way years ago.

@Museek I swear Gizmo was holding out for Indy. We're sad but nature requires an end to long life. @GamerzATX

Well, we're now spending our last night with Gizmo. After Indy we're still reeling and now Gizmo is at his end. We brought him home with his IV so he could be here instead of at a clinic for his departure. We have scheduled for tomorrow unless he passes overnight. Hug your fur babies.

@Novels56 I love the smell of a freshly lit cigarette. I quit smoking decades ago but will stand near one today if I have a chance. Actually, all tobacco is like potpourri to me.
