Insane
Most Democrats are going to vote for whoever the party puts up. But Democrats aren't a majority and need to court the independents who make up a third of this country in order to win. (Especially with the electoral college.)
Many of whom are younger and less enthusiastic voters -- who won't show up if the DNC runs an incredibly unpopular incumbent.
The MAGA base *is* enthusiastic about throwing out Brandon and *will* show up on election day to vote against Joe.
He continues to talk about how he's the only one who can do the job.
