1-Here’s a pic of former Skafish band members Greg Sarchet (left), and Larry Mazalan (right), circa 1977-78. If you haven't already, I'm sure you'd enjoy hearing their phenomenal performances on the album What's This? 1976-1979. There’s some really radical stuff on that one, including what are considered to be Chicago’s first punk recordings (8-76). Link to listen in bio.
This promo pic from the film Urgh! A Music War was taken when my band was performing the frenetic and defiantly edgy Beefcake Touch in France, while on tour with The Police, XTC, UB40, & The English Beat. This never before released track is now on Conversation & The Rejects, and, like so many Skafish pieces, unlike any other!
Here it is on Bandcamp: https://skafish.bandcamp.com/track/beefcake-touch-bonus-track-live-in-france
Healing Tip: Always follow the attitudes and energy of your thoughts and emotions. Wherever you find dark spots, bitterness, regret, low self worth, resentment, guilt, etc., is where the work needs to be done. Any healing you do will positively impact every aspect of your journey, including your health, well being, prosperity, mindset, dreams, and relationships.
Celebrating CBGB today!
It was great being the first Chicago Punk band to play CGBG 4-77 with the Mumps (when I first met Joey Ramone), and 12-77 with the Cramps. And, a big thank you to everyone who was there with us!
Viva revolutionary music! #CoSoMusicians
Circa 1979, here's a collection of promo puzzles of artists managed by Scott Cameron! I am in great company with fellow performers/good friends Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and Mighty Joe Young! Besides mine, I haven't seen any of these before! Pic: Teresa Cameron Richards #blues #Chicagoblues #punk #chicagopunk
As an artist, don't let being ignored derail your sense of purpose. Don't let criticism suppress or implode you. Don't let praise make you flabby and full of yourself. Stay true to your vision and intention no matter what. #CoSoMusicians

Cassette only EP, released 1988, where I'm joined by drummer Jeff Ward (Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Lard), Backing vocalists Nadima (Aretha Franklin), and great horn players, some of whom played for Brian Wilson. Like all of my former releases, this one will be reissued down the road! Pic: Pj Klocek - Cover pic: Jack Stanis #CoSoMusicians
As an artist, I am not in competition with anyone-no one is my opponent. I wish everyone their highest success! #CoSoMusicians
Spring 1976: The first incarnation of the Skafish band takes shape. This shot was taken in the alley behind my house where we rehearsed in East Chicago, Indiana. L-R: Greg Sarchet, Larry J Mysliwiec Skafish, & Larry Mazalan (RIP).
Both our all-consuming ambition and naivete allowed us to give 100%. I am grateful that we changed everything and also, survived it all! #CoSoMusic
