I needed to run to the grocery store for a few things and the kids wanted to go.
Before we were even out of the driveway they were fighting to the point where I stopped the van, put it in park, and said, "Everybody out."
They unhooked themselves and went into the house and I ran to the store in silence.
That was nice.

@Shelter one time when I was about 5, we lived in Los Angeles, us four kids were squabbling and fighting in the car. Mom stopped the car, kicked us out, and made us walk home.

Yeah my mom did the same thing to me when I was like 6 and being a ferocious brat, but we were two blocks from home and my grandmom was home and it was the NJ suburbs in 1977.
Then she followed me slowly to make sure that I got home safely.

@Shelter lol yeah mom did the follow too. We were about a mile from home. Cities, and parents, were quite different back then.
