Dinner tonight was gyro marinade chicken skewers, air fryer baby potatoes, some leftover naan, and California cherries.
@Shelter Cherries and sometimes watermellon send my sugar soaring. The rest are mostly OK. It's sad but true. :(
@NiveusLepus @Shelter Um.. are you implying I'm lying about my sugar readings going up with some fruits? First, I never lie and certainly not about nutrition/diabetes stuff.
Think of it like a conversation where someone says, I was driving to work and a branch fell on my car, and the person they're talking to says, "That's bullshit," in solidarity.
The circumstances are the bullshit, not the information.

I'm also a quirky beast and enjoy the discarded slang of yesteryear, as well as colloquial anomalies like "That toads the wet sprocket."
That phrase was used as the name of a joke band in an old monty python album and later became the name of an American alternative rock band.
To me it always sounded like an expletive.
Bogus, groovy, rad, radical, gnarly, rockin, far out, Cat's whiskers, bees knees, etc etc
I, too, am the 80s. Born 1971.
I do a fairly decent job of translating it into regular speech, though.

@Shelter @NiveusLepus OK that's why I asked. Bogus usually means 'untrue' but terms get multiple meanings to different folks. :) It does suck LOL I have 3 dwarf cherry trees and plan to eat their fruits.. in small doses :)
