@SenescentDrummer13 He's going to try but thankfully he's incompetent and weak. He won't succeed, he's just trying to get any sort of "win" he can to show the country that the GQP isn't just a bunch of do-nothing Fascists. He will fail, the Dems and President Biden have several ways of dealing with him, and when they do, it's likely going to result in Qevin's speakership ending soon after.
Let’s get something straight here: Clearly breaking the law and being held accountable is NOT political persecution!!! To even begin to think so, is a testament of an inability to accept truth and speaks volumes about one’s ability to be brainwashed by propaganda that attempts to twist right to wrong!
@SenescentDrummer13 I fail to see how the MAGA can justify their glee at the prosecution of Michael Cohen, without once questioning the basis, yet it's unthinkable that his co-defendant on the same case and facts might have to face justice for his part in the scheme.🤔
You should always do the right thing, not for pride or publicity but because it's the right thing to do.
But you should never shy away from doing the right thing because somebody says "Your opponents are really going to take advantage of that! Think of the optics!"
Your opponents are likely to lie about you whatever you do, and their supporters aren't going to care if the accusations about you are true or not. You can't escape criticism by failing to do something right.
So do the right thing.

“Trump is circulating the false claim that his indictment stems from political animus. But the facts show that’s not true, that this is what prosecutors call a righteous case. The core of the indictment is the allegation that Trump caused the creation of false business records to conceal criminal conduct that included election and tax law violations. It wasn’t just a minor recordkeeping error.” Joyce Vance - Former Federal Prosecutor
