I totally get that. I have kids and cats but no adults. I really don't trust my ability to pick friends anymore, so I am definitely a loner by choice

Tyanna and Loki were 18 1/2 and 16 1/2 respectively when they left this earth. It is so hard to have Christmas without them Tyanna loved xmas trees and Loki loved everything about the holidays - the tree, presents, lights. I miss them very much
