My publisher's table at Multiverse. I've spent a lot of time in hotels over the past few years, as part of convention life/book promotion. The only places where the carpet is weirder are laser tag joints. This one looks like the table will soon be attacked by cephalopods.

#movienight I got to see Sparrows tonight on the big screen. I'd never actually seen any of Mary Pickford's work before, and I was pretty impressed. Even more impressed by some of what I heard about her as a entrepreneur. Definitely someone I want to learn more about.

I spent today at BookmarksNC book festival shilling my wares. Did well too! Sold out of 4 horror titles. And sold a lot of book one of my series. It was a new event for me, and it felt good to connect with a new audience. I was a last minute pinch hitter, when a friend who had booked a table had his partner back out. So I got to help a friend, make some money, and spend a very pleasant day among bookish people. #CoSoWriters #CoSoBooks
