The Sedition Caucus

The House of Representatives of the 118th Congress is (as expected) going to be a complete 💩 show. While I'd love to for Dems to have the majority in the House, I'm starting to think that with the Insurrection Caucus calling the shots, it's not going to make a whole lot of difference. Kevin McCarthy doesn't like the results so far in his quest to be House Speaker. What to do, what to do? Why, change the rules so all he needs is a simple majority of 213 votes to the Dem's 212, rather than the 218 as currently required. Brilliant! 🙄

The Insurrection Caucus is holding 20 votes hostage. Changing the threshold only gains McCarthy 5 votes. He still won't have a majority.
