@Wreckless I have carried that whiskey fueled thought in my head for many, many years. US astronauts made it to the moon numerous times on today's equivalent of tin cans and strings. I watched Armstrong's descent from lunar lander Eagle live more than 50 years ago. We hitched LEO rides to ISS with Russians for years.

Here we are today, depending on Eloon to recreate the achievement. I don't know where we went wrong.

@BlueStateBabe Today, I noticed bottle brush bushes blooming at my golf clubhouse. No wonder my pollen-adverse sinuses have been acting up over the past few days. Washed my car yesterday; today, it's coated in pollen again. A bit early, even for Florida.

@LlamaMountainStudioArts That's fair. There seems to be little middle ground on the Eagles. You either liked them or didn't. There wasn't / isn't much middle ground in appreciating or loathing them.
