Also hopefully by then, the shower hardware and glass have finished off the shower.

It's helped to be flexible on everything. People work hard and try hard to deliver value. It makes no sense to be a dick about scheduling. They are pros. They're cool if you're cool.

Remodeling a home this old , 50 years this year, has been full of challenges.

The "bodies in wall" in this case were the particle boards underlying the tile. In fact only recently, there was a part of the floor that actually creaked. I'm like WTF?

Replacing the floor now is now matter of #HomeRepair, not #Vanity.

But the floor does NOW look ready for tile-- which is expected today. My restored hallway will get new floors today.

The new epoxy is curing in the garage.

The grinding down of the old epoxy of the garage is a roar below my office.

Today is a big day...if the tile installers ever show up.

The garage epoxy gets done today.

All this means that we both will soon be able to return our clothes to the closets and park in the garage and take a shower in our master bath shower. It means the debris field in the MBR is no more

In short, we should get relief soon... maybe joy.

I have surprises to come for those tracking this story.

#Remodel update.

There was a lot of hammering and power driven tools sounds yesterday that did NOT sound like they were laying down tile.

They were doing a professional job, redoing the underlying floor structure. Today, yeah...I fully expect the tile to go in. Even so, we might have to wait up to 48 hours to walk on it.

The garage is now 90% repainted with the rest on Friday. The handyman I hired, I'll refer to a Jethro, was slow... is slow.

Ok who hacked #ServiceNOW?

I just figured out something else about our house.

It solves a couple of mysteries.

When previous owners converted the den into a bedroom it must have been out of necessity. This means that the guest bedroom's restroom had to become a guest restroom. So they moved the door in, turning the closet into a linen closet but eliminating any closet for the guest bedroom.

Sorry, last call for that person who originally expressed interest in my free unused drone. Then it goes to interested party number 2.
