In the next 10 days, I will be in Boston and my wife will be in two cities including one like me, on the Eastern seaboard.

We will not see a whole lot of each other because of OUR work. Our canine companion is cared for. Our kids are grown and approaching independence. Our careers are at their peak and we are MOBILE.

ABOVE ALL, we have our health.

ALL THIS, is just for now.

The weekend was full of traffic deaths, wannabe dictators, dicks and WWIII.

Still, I had a great weekend and I don't have a complaint in the world.

I even watched Bo Nix win his first game as a pro.

What followed was a great conversation with a former product specialist about MY CAR.

And driving it home afterwards felt like a reward. Four years after buying a car that was ahead of it's time, it is now a dead car line.

But I wouldn't trade it for the world.

The BMW Track Event yesterday was everything you could imagine fun.

BMW Rep: "Thoughts on the IX?"

She recorded my answers on her tablet as I walked around it.

E.g.

"The pincer look on the D pillar is hideous to me."

"Floating roof is a better look."
