I don't like when people die, and I hate when they get hurt. I do find the question of what happens afterwards fascinating, both from a practical and a spiritual viewpoint. I may be morbid, but I am not at all sadistic. In case you were wondering.

@janallmac
First, you aren't morbid or sadistic. You are expressing normal curiosity about what happens after we die. I know that from my own spiritual beliefs, I believe that we are energy and after our physical bodies die our energy lives on. I also believe in reincarnation.
What are your thoughts and feelings?

@Spagesgallo1 @janallmac I believe that's beautiful.

I have found no scientific evidence to support life after death. I've come to accept that...while we build for the future, the only thing that matters is the here and now. The love and the life and the energy of now.

There is scientific evidence that our universe will disintegrate into subatomic particles. I would not want an eternal soul that could outlive the stars in the sky.

By the way, have you ever heard about NDE? There have been extensive studies about thousands of people who have had NDE. My uncle had a NDE when he was having OHS. He described every single detail of what he saw transpire in the OR as they were trying to revive him. He told my cousin what happened and my cousin spoke with the surgeon who confirmed everything.

@Spagesgallo1 @janallmac I hope you're right but really, if there's an afterlife without my wife and dog, meh.

No worries. They'll be right there with you. ❤️That's why I'm not afraid of dying. I know it's going to be a grand reunion! 😊
