@Redcarpet I am an amateur photographer and would never reach for my phone over a 'real' camera for any shot requiring quality. The physics involved with the dimensions of a smartphone limit the capabilities of the camera. Most of the photographic 'features' they're rolling out these days are software imitations of optical effects achieved with a real camera.
@MakerWerks 1000 percent agree. Yet The Verge posts one of these on a regular basis: https://www.theverge.com/2022/11/9/23447192/iphone-14-pro-s22-ultra-pixel-7-pro-best-smartphone-camera
@MakerWerks They did. Is an iPhone 6s or a Galaxy s7 really that different from S22 or iPhone 14? No its not. You scroll feeds, listen to audio, watch video, post, and use various apps just about the same. Pictures look nicer of course, but 99 percent of the time it doesn't matter.
