I wish there was a way to purge all your Facebook data except your friendships. I pulled the bandaid and deleted my account but would have like to have left it open to check once in a while if friends or family are looking for me. But I don’t want Facebook keeping its dossier on me.
@willsecurity too much trouble. And I don’t trust Facebook to not find some obscure way to track me. Bad enough they will probably always have a shadow profile of me.
@Redcarpet You can in fact do this .. it's known as FB poisoning
You just layer tons of conflicting and weird data into your profile...
It's usually easier to keep your account message people, "I am doing this accept this friend invite"
Cause you do need a new profile to do it and then never sign in from your phone unless it's new and even then don't do it
