Don't let those who despise themselves tell you what you should think of yourself. Many people will try to undermine your self-esteem purely because their own is shattered.
If you're stressed about something before it happens, you put yourself through it twice.
If someone treats you poorly, it is not because you are a horrible person; rather, they perceive you as an obstacle to their happiness. That perspective is their flaw, not yours.Β
A quick way to spot a liar is to keep them talking. People who tell the truth are more likely to speak more and divulge more information. Liars are frequently unwilling or even unable to do so because they cannot rely on authentic memories, lack the creativity to build a detailed, credible tale, or worry that they will be outed. Allow someone to talk their way into revealing themselves as a liar than resorting to accusatory tactics.
Stop celebrating being busy as a measure of importance. Instead, celebrate the time spent listening, pondering, meditating, and enjoying time with people you care about.
If you start a good habit and don't notice any progress, keep going. Repetition will grow the strongly entrenched roots into the ground before developing the flower.
If you want something you've never had before, you must do something you've never done before.
Don't be afraid to walk away from poisonous people. These are the kinds of goodbyes that set you free.
If you're unsure about your goals, interests, and passions, it may be beneficial to work backwards, starting from finish rather than beginning. So, instead of asking yourself what you want to achieve 1 day or 1 week or 1 year from now, ask yourself: what do you think you would most regret not having done for yourself by the end of your life?

Be wary of those that accuse you of being ungrateful for wanting more, they may be gaslighting you into staying in your current situation because it benefits them. A genuine person will encourage you rather than discourage you in your pursuits.
