I don't imagine a better representation of what Memorial Day is about or what we remember. I'm proud of those people, their goodness and sacrifice for an imperfect world, despite their own imperfections, which we all have. They rose above them, into perfect memory. I thank them for the better, still imperfect world they made or preserved that I had the fortune to live in.
