We just realized we haven't introduced the cast of characters at Pug Hollow Sanctuary... There are two of them. The Human Scribe (THS) is our president and social media manager. She also takes care of the 24 elderly and terminally ill small dogs that make up the Mongrel Horde. The Other Human (TOH) is the other half of the care team at the Sanctuary. He doesn't muddle about with our social media, but he is a provider of noms.

We were afraid that the exodus from the bird platform would cause donations to drop and it did. We are almost out of dog food. Thanks to some monetary donations, and a generous donation of Beyond, we’ve been able to squeak by again but the food stores are almost depleted. If you can please donate. If you can’t please share. Alright... Pupdate time - Grigori Raspugin had his chest tumor removed for the 2nd time. The vet also removed the lymph node under it because it was enlarged. He's a bit sore but doing well. And otherwise in good health. Pup Cup had her eye sewn shut. The ulceration was almost all the way through the cornea. We'll be medicating & monitoring her carefully to hopefully save the eye, & make sure it doesn't rupture. She is still full speed ahead pug puppy style.

We didn't really get around to this when we joined. So here's our #Introduction. We're a tiny (two people and 24 dogs.) nonprofit dog hospice. We provide end of life care to small dogs under 25 lbs. and over 10 years old or who are terminally ill. Our goal is to keep them happy and comfortable in a home environment until the end.
