@NotTheFakeNate I do believe the other striped bugs are yellow jackets. Nasty sting and very aggressive. We have them here along with other nasty stingers the Wasp that are very aggressive too.

CAUSE FOR CONCERN
Recent uptake of COVID-19 vaccine booster doses in the European Union has been "rather disappointing," an official said on Thursday, amid concerns that protection against severe cases of the disease could weaken during the winter. The European average rate of re-vaccination, or receiving booster doses, was only 29% in the groups of people considered to be at highest risk, such as the elderly & immunocompromised.

I joined on Thanksgiving night 24 Nov 2022, and promised I'd write an intro thread today. Here I am to keep that promise.
My background as a law enforcement and intelligence journalist started with listening to the very first radio receiver I owned.
I was a teenager in High School at that time, and had been actively involved in the Chicago Police Dept's Law Enforcement Explorer program.

I have a photograph somewhere in my Alaskan pictures of a porcupine up in a birch tree next to the Alaskan pipeline. The tree is pretty much bare, but there at the top is a full grown porcupine gazing out upon the tundra.
This is our 5 lb. Yorkie Huckleberry. He is my hubby's little buddy. He is a thief. He steal my slippers, socks and anything fuzzy or furry.
He is barking at our big screen tv because there animals on the screen that he thinks they are in his house. He thinks this is his house and nobody else's

Time for cute. I am an animal lover. A wolf advocate since my teen ages ago. They are my most favorite keystone predator as they are connect to my ancestors.

I am extremely thrilled that Sarah Palin lost for the only seat up in Alaska. We lived in alaska for many years, and our son still lives in Fairbank with his daughter. If we could move back with healthcare insurance we would. But their insurance is crappy as it can get. Also no dentist will accept anyone healthcare insurance and it's a cash only business in Alaska.

I finally got my Archive yesterday late afternoon. I mainly wanted it for the pictures and link to authors that I love and read all the time. I am hoping that they end up here. I don't want their content taken by Tribel as they have a constant battle with Amazon over their own books.
