I've had the last five days off in a row and took advantage by arting my butt off. It grieves me now to have to go back to the dreary day job. Really thinking about retiring next year at 62. I'm not rich but would probably make a little more on retirement than I do at this part time job's slave wages.

I'm not really one for 100% student loan forgiveness. We all take out loans for things, it's a choice, whether we buy a house, a car or choose to further our education. However, I think to make it fair, there should be a very low interest rate on those loans, so that its easier to pay them back. Also, education shouldn't be so expensive to put one in debt for life.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, if someone wishes to deny me service based on religious grounds, I will be happy to spend my money elsewhere.

I also enjoy repainting mannequin heads. I just don't have space to buy more. I have six mannequin busts and one full size mannequin.

Really bad air quality here in Saginaw today from the Quebec fires. Worst I've seen it (and smelled it). Not complaining though because it's far worse for the people and animals who are dealing directly with these fires. My heart goes out to them.

That moment when you retire from doing doll makeovers and a client emails you saying they dropped their doll's head and messed up the makeover and can you fix it? I'm trying to paint lamps, gosh darnit!
