I just paid off my car. No more car payments. What a great feeling.
This is not what I want my taxes spent on.
I am totally stoked. Just got tickets to see Cheap Trick at the Temple Theater in Saginaw. It's 15 minutes from my house. I used to be a huge fan in the late 70's and 80's. I've seen them in huge stadiums and small clubs. Super excited.

When I asked the salesman why car mfg'ers only make bland colors, he says. "Cause that's what people want." I said, "Then why do you have a lot full of those colors and not the cool colors?"
Why do most car manufacturers have no imagination when it comes to car exterior colors? Spent four hours looking at used cars today and no one had anything decent that wasn't white, red, black or silver.
What are your greed-flation stories? Today at Kroger: over $4 for a small tub of cream cheese. Didn't buy it. I wonder how much food gets thrown away because people can't afford to buy it?

I'd like to say I am remembering my Uncle Albert this Memorial Day, who died at the age of 20 in WWII. But I never got the chance to meet him. I often wonder what kind of a man he would have been and what kind of relationship we would have had. He died on April 21, 1943 and never made it home. His body was buried at Medjez-El-Bab, Tunisia. War sucks and governments suck because it's the governments that sent people to war. Fucking fascists and dictators and greedy men.
Like a good neighbor, State Farm is.......no longer there. And fuck them. They dumped us after our ice maker flooded the kitchen and living room. Just needed flooring replaced and they dumped us over that claim. Never again, State Farm.
