Really good so far; especially liking the longer ones.

My fellow jazz fans, we now have the answers we've been seeking: saxophonist Ivo Perelman and trumpeter Nate Wooley have released "Polarity 2," the sequel to their free jazz adjacent 2021 album "Polarity." And it's good. Click here to read my review.

Super good, both in what she wrote about, and how she wrote about them. Really hope she writes more.

Our congratulations to Grimsby, a witch in writer James J. Butcher's urban fantasy series, "The Unorthodox Chronicles." In the new book, " Long Past Dues," he's gotten a job working...oh, for"The Man." To find out how, and why, check out this Q&A.

I'm thinking this title might not be truthful... 😬

While some science fiction authors set their books in the near future or the far future, author Dwain Morrell set his military sci-fI and then some novel "Androne" in the "here-future." To learn more, check out this exclusive interview.

Though very different than the previous 2 (a change in lead characters will do that), this was just as engaging (and spicy) of a story. And now, the conclusion.

In the graphic novel "Heart Attack," Jill and Charlie have special abilities...and thus special enemies. I wonder if this is an allegory for anything?

Anyway, if you'd like to learn more (about this comic, and bigotry), check out this exclusive Q&A with "Attack" writer Shawn Kittelsen and artist Eric Zawadzki

While most authors cite other books as being influences on theirs, in my interview with writer Brent Lambert about his epic urban fantasy novella "A Necessary Chaos," he also cites a dark comedic action movie and a hip-hop-influenced R&B song.
