His earlier were better (at least to read; maybe they were better when performed). Too many of these were overly clever and smirk-ing-ly self-aware.

Despite what the title suggests, Honey Watson's new novel "Lessons In Birdwatching" isn't an instruction manual; it's a sci-fi story...with some birdwatching. Why? Find out in this exclusive interview.

Yet another exceptional collection of in a series that's, well, always exceptional.

The British Museum has many treasures people would like to steal (or steal back, as the case may be). And in his new fantasy novel "Shigidi And The Brass Head Of Obalufon," writer Wole Talabi pulls off a fantastic heist. How? For that, you need to read this exclusive interview.

Was as inventive and compelling a -adjacent story as the previous book, "Persephone Station," but a bit more emotional. Good stuff.

FYI, fellow fans of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross' experimental soundscape soundtracks: is about as good as the one for "Empire Of Light" and "Bones And All," which were better than "Soul" and "Mank" but not as good as "Waves" or "Watchmen."

Just a reminder: If you don't have Disney+, one of the best shows, , is airing on ABC this Saturday, August 5th, and next Saturday, August 12th, starting at 8PM.

When we think of the things that artificial intelligence might do one day, we usually think of self-driving cars, robot maids, and, uh, world domination. But in Aimee Ogden’s noir-adjacent sci-fi mystery novella "Emergent Properties," the main character is an A.I. who works as a journalist. Why? Find out in this exclusive interview.

Yet another fun if nerve-wracking adventure for the servicepeople (and pooch) of the Near-Earth Orbital Guard.

We all respond to tragedies differently. Take writer E.G. Condé, who was so horrified by images of Puerto Rico after Hurricane María, especially of his grandmother's home, that it inspired him to pen an eco, cli-fi, sci-fi, Taínofuturistic novella called "Sordidez." To find out why, check out this Q&A.
