Morning CoSo….even though it’s raining…I’m gonna have a great day….today is the day I go and learn how to make dumplings/dim sum. I’m so excited…then if the rain/winds are not so bad, San Genaro Feast here I come…..I can never refuse a sausage pepper and onion hero….mmmm I can smell them now. I swear they should bottle that scent who wouldn’t want to walk around smelling like that. I’d chase you all around that’s for sure….hahaha

So while I have been working I decided to make a cake. So here’s a white chocolate almond raspberry cake. It’s a white cake with an amaretto and white chocolate buttercream and homemade raspberry preserves in the middle. Decorated with almonds and fresh raspberries 😍

I have to laugh sometimes….I have been on a health journey this past year and have been very disciplined with food and exercise. So once in a while I want to cheat but the past few times I’ve been wanting to cheat they didn’t have what I wanted so I was spared the added calories. So this weekend I’m going to city for a cooking class then I was gonna head to st genaro feast in lil Italy. Now it’s going to rain and be windy all weekend long. LOL there goes another chance to cheat lol I can’t win

It’s always cute listening to all the different chirping sounds I hear. I imagine they are discussing their journeys from today and what they endured. Hehe.

So the past few weeks my sleep has been off and not sure why….so last night I remembered a present my sister got me for either Christmas or my birthday last year, and decided to use them again….and boy what a great night sleep I had…I recommend them highly.

Today is going to be a loooonnnnnggggg day. My sleep is all outta whack. I went to lie down last night around 6 just to rest my eyes for one minute and woke up at midnight. Then tried going back to sleep but couldn’t until about 3:30 then alarm went off at 5:15. I’m gonna grab me a large iced caramel latte and pray that gives me the ⚡️ I need to make it too at least noon. 🤪

Morning CoSo….about to head out to gym but sitting here for a few minutes. I threw ice cubes in the kitties water bowl…now I’m listen to them splashing their paws in the water…and now one of them is playing with a cube and pushing it around the house like it’s one of their toys…😜 they are soo stinkin cute

So I just read a story about one of our proud American golfers who decided to join the LIV league and leave the PGA….it makes sense to me now why he left…..he was a major gambler and I guarantee he was getting himself in too deep and needed that money to bail him out and continue to live that lifestyle and feed that addiction. Sad to see how many people sell themselves(their souls??) for the almighty dollar.

Woke up to go to bathroom and geez. The open skies around me are noisy as f*ck. I live near JFK and the President is coming in for UN today and I’m assuming it’s the military helicopters etc hovering around clearing the skies cause that’s all I hear at the moment. Noisy as all hell and I have to get up in 1.5 hrs to head to city to deal with this crap. Uggh. I pray I can leave the office and catch my bus back home by 1

I have noticed I’ve been using CoSo more and now I have a question for you #Help. I really wanna start using the movie night feature but I don’t have desktop…but I have VR glasses (quest 2). Can I log in to CoSo this way via their web browser/internet and view the movie room thru there?

Geez…prep work is no joke….just got done prepping and finally cooking a Turkey chili……I’m sweating and sure wish I had a pool to jump in to….I don’t even care it’s 77 degrees out. My house is hot hot hot….

Does anyone else feel guilty when giving their kitties catnip….I feel like a bad mommy at times lol

I think there’s one of those cicadas in my yard. And his buzzing sounds like hes dying or someone snoring. It’s kinda creepy either way. #IHateBugs

As I was leaving the laundromat earlier, people started to come in all at once (like 5 diff groups) all had a lot of laundry with them too….glad I went when I went. Now off to figure out and write down ideas for food/meals this week as the cupboards are bare….I’m running on Dunkin…☕ hehe

Up a tad too early….so now debating do I get up and go do laundry since I’m assuming laundry mat will be dead at 5am or do I just lay here for another hour debating the same issue….decisions decisions.
