Sarah,With all due respect, I believe that you should fight that rule for all transfolk in the nation. This compliance reflects poorly to us across the nation, and suggests that we should all comply if the federal government issues a ban on bathroom access on trans people across the nation. You must hold the line, ma'am. For all of us, it's not just about sports, or health care access anymore, it's about setting the bar for all of us now. 1/?

Sarah McBride stated that she will comply to the Housespeakers rule about bathroom access for trans people in the Capitol. I decided to fire off a letter encouraging her to stand her ground, to defy the rule, and raise the bar. Letter will be in the reply here.

Everytime I see or hear someone say, under God, I think to myself: I didn't consent to this and also this. history.com/news/pledge-allegi

PSA - I'll make it so @Alfred is able to handle your join date queries and what chronological number person you are.

Soon.

All the other social media right now are not curating or banning hate based commentary, something to think about.

Just to point out something, this community supports transfolk and LGBTQ. If you came here to bully, mock us, or to try and push bigotry, you will FAFO. Courtesy of our own @th3j35t3r

Today is and my thoughts immediately go to our CoSo friend Mouses. She was loved by many of us here, as she shared her life and brightness with us all.

We love and miss you Mouses. 💜

Except for hating the Republican ass clowns that are our domestic terrorist enemies.

While Day of Remembrance is officially about those we've lost through direct violence, I choose to expand it.

We lose many more Trans people (and other groups) to indirect violence - suicide. Those who choose this option aren't doing so because the world is all sunshine and flowers. Their world and hope has been whittled away until they see no other option but to sleep forever.

Forced micro-dosing of hate & violence can kill you as easily as an asshole with a gun.

Today is Transgender Rememberance Day. Hug your family and friends, let them know they are loved and supported and deserve a place in the world.

I'm reviving a term I used to use on the Buzzard site 8 years ago, but am reviving here, referring to you know what but in southern charm.

The Late Unpleasantness

"Yes, we too used to enjoy church gatherings... before the late unpleasantness."

A positive motivation for the next 4 years.
I concur.
Tie them all together.

Pst, hey, if you love this place, and the folks here, be sure to donate to help J keep this place going! (I might do some sketches for those that donate the last stretch to 100%!)
