I actually spoke to the fella in the rainbow colored mech suit, and he stated that his main issue with getting the colors to blend right, was making sure each piece fit the theme he was going for. He won quite a bit of in game currency along with the other winners, and a prize box for each one as well. (Prize boxes give out randomized rare rewards.)

Now don't get me wrong, some games do have a thriving community for roleplayers, and LGBTQ both. But City of Heroes Homecoming, is perhaps the only one I've run into that actually has a very strong LGBTQ presence in the community and the management of the game has made it especially clear, Gender Identity is not to be questioned, disparaged, or mocked. While we do have our own kind of "drama", the community is more mature than we were when we first played. So it's cozy.

@AI78 Homecoming is my second home gaming wise, I couldn't recommend trying it out any higher, haha!

I also do a bit of base building myself, mostly for fun but I'm trying to recreate images of worlds from my own imagination with many of the bases I've created over the last six years on the game. City of Heroes hit 20 years old just this past August, it's dated in graphics, but the players that love it, we see so much more than what's on modern games today.

@lisaannlm Well, I figure if we all share our favorite things, whether it's activities, or what we enjoy and love, maybe the sentiment meter will go green!

As for why I love the community on City of Heroes Homecoming. I am the founder of the player mentorship project on the Everlasting shard, (@)Crystal Dragon, and I teach roleplaying to beginners, and help shake off the rust from the returning players of the game. I have a team of two other mentors that help lead this, both organizing and hosting "classes" to educate on safe roleplaying, online safety in the game, and how to use the support tools among a variety of other tips.

This is one of my favorite player built spaces in City of Heroes:Homecoming, it's an LGBTQ club that opens about two or three times a month at night eastern time, and they live stream music from LGBTQ artists around the world. The club, is named Penny Palace and the main host there, is DJ Eros and Midnight-Masque.

My favorite game. I love the community on City of Heroes: Homecoming, and know quite a few of the staff that manage the game for the players. It is community funded 100% and free to play. You can play your own self created hero, or villains, or even vigilantes and rogues! And what's awesome about this game is the amount of customization you can do, from personal super group bases, to your own custom look and build for your characters.

Can we collectively get the network sentiment to green for a while? Let's give it a shot! Post your favorite game, pet, animal, plant, and tell us a bit about why you like this!

@cmtinkerton I guess Mark Twain must be a relation of some kind to me by spirit - because yeah, he sounds like me. lol

I'm not one to wish ill on others, okay. But those two? No amount of self restraint stops me from wishing that they'd end up goners before they even sit in the oval office.

@th3j35t3r So the possibility of Vance being president instead might be a reality... Wonderful.. 😒
