Honestly, I do think that most "gender critics" are questioning themselves every time they issue attack statements and claims towards the transgender population. Imagine if you will, less than .1% of the US is trans, and you have a greater portion of 77% that's CIS. Why attack a minority that has NOTHING to do with you or your personal choices in life? So heartwarming moment to share: My MIL is not a super ally, or hugely informed about the LGBTQ+ but she received a flyer from Human Rights informing about the threats of AntiTrans/LGBTQ legislation in the US, with rainbow and HR flag stickers in it. They are asking for donations (I know, I know there's some sketch with HR, but overlook that for a moment.) My husband is leaving the flyer out for the donation card, to see if she decides to donate, since both her Inlaws/Born are LGBTQ. #LGBTQ

Now I do know there might be some buck back in regards to the comparisons of history of the Nazi movement, to today's actions and society, but the comparison is mirroring and quite stark. Take a real critical look at what these people are saying today, and look back at what was said back then as well. You'll see it for yourself.
