To those that are unaware: Halloween originally was called All Saints Eve, or Samhain among the #CoSoPagans community. Many pagan communities celebrate in many different ways, some host a bonfire celebration of the harvest season, closure of another year, and use this holy night as a time to cast blessings and burn away the negativity of the year passing us. In all technicality, I guess you could say it's the Witches New Year. Each of us walk to the beat of our own drum, but we find unity here!
@PaganMother
Thank You Are Awesome.
Yes. We walk amongst society unseen,we are many. Our collective knowledge and skills have been the only medical source for survival of people and our animals through out history. I still healing herbs,plants that my ancestors used 470 years ago. I share mostly healing & protection information. Blessings to all Cosonauts.
@PaganMother It's my favorite holiday. : )
@AskTheDevil I love Halloween, not just for the colorful costumes and candy either, there's just something about the holiday that really brings out the "Hey, it's autumn, soak in the chill and enjoy the natural colorshow" vibes big time for me. :)
And yes, you might find more #CoSoPagans here talking about our rituals, ceremonies and practices to discuss different ways of worship and celebration. We find unity here, so we share our wisdom with each other often. <3
