Alright, since I seem to need to make a point. RTS is an actual condition to be aware of. It's not just a matter of discomfort to be aware of. #Mentalhealth https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_trauma_syndrome

@stuartblair Thank you, been poking at a few friends that have disconnected from cults recently in regards to finding resources and source materials to read up on the condition to better understand it.
@PaganMother This site offers help and healing for victims of Religious Trauma.
@VelvetDuchess Ah thank you ever so. <3
@PaganMother You will love RevKarla
@PaganMother Yes. If you show me your Christianity with your actions I will respect it. If you hound others with Bible verses I think you’re using it for some kind of control.
@MrsBenjy This exactly.
I know some folks find comfort in the words of the good book, but remember that there are some of us that have been abused and harmed by leaders in the religious circles and wish to avoid anything to do with those words. Please be kind to one another with this in mind. You can still do the good works without spouting words that could undo weeks, months or even years of personal healing. #Mentalhealth
