Our minds are fertile ground—be mindful of the seeds we plant. The roots from the seeds of hate, xenophobia, racism, misogyny, fear, intolerance…once sown, burrow deeply spreading web-like as mycelium; they are notoriously difficult to uproot.

Are we on the cusp of a Technopoly? Neil Postman warned we’d surrender to tech, and it’s happening. Algorithms shape our thoughts, replacing critical thinking with viral noise. Google feeds us clicks, not truth.
But we can fight back. Join the 1%, resist algorithmic poisoning, and think critically.
Rise up!

Dis/misinformation, that is the question! Intentionality is the key. Disinformation is puposely crafted knowing it is false or missleading. Missinformation is not purposefully crafted knowing it is false or misleading.

Hearken to my words! As I lay contemplating the freedoms paid for by the lifeblood of our illustrious heroes, I foresaw an ominous dark shadow approaching from far to the right on obsidian wings, its countenance fierce with yellow piercing eyes and sharp, beguiling tongue dripping with poisoned honey and cunning that defies belief. A Crow: what does this mean?
Beware—the trickster is nigh, and it comes for you! Guard your ideological treasures, lest our beguiling friend absconds with it.

We all have the potential to be the big bad wolf in our own stories. We also have the potential, the agency, to tame that big bad wolf. By taming the wolf within, we take control of our lives, choosing resilience, growth, self-compassion, and self-mastery over self-destruction.

An Ode to Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae, queen of farts,
We don’t enjoy your stinking tarts!
Your noxious malodorous emission,
Whacks my eyes into submission.
I was savouring my breakfast quest,
Now my senses are all messed!
Let me enjoy my bacon and eggs,
Please, no farts, from you I ‘begs!

A circulating on Facebook about Brian Posch going missing is fake news, and disrespectful to Brain's family. Griffters are getting shares and clicks. You are making them money! Please fact-check before you share or amplify a post.

How true! The words of Edwin Starr in his 1970 version of the tune, War: "Oh, war, I despise 'Cause it means destruction of innocent lives …"

Ah, be gar, I was in a naughty mood this morning.

Complexitiy's Bane

The problem with a simple little word,
You simply cannot polish a turd!
For in a complex situation,
Understanding is an elation.

Love

Love does not manifest as sugared kisses nor candied dreams,
it's not in magical, mystical love potions.
It's not all rainbow colours and kaleidoscope themes,
Those are just fanciful idealised notions.
It's not endless change and constantly exciting,
It's choice, it's work, it's endless devotion.
It can be dull, grey, and emotionally biting.
Yet, in its embrace, we find profound emotion.

Amor dolor est, amor est voluptas, amor vita!
(Love is pain, love is pleasure, love is life!)

Sometimes, we can get caught up in the past and feel sorry for ourselves in "the now", thus robbing ourselves of the mental emancipation to live our best lives: we can be our own jailors!
The Emancipation Of Now

It is what it is, not what it was!
Life is transient; don't live in the past.
Carpe diem—now seize the day,
Or mental bondage will be your pay,
Free yourself, Be yourself, Live for today!

Libera te ipsum, vive hodie!
(Free yourself, live today!)
