A treat for Rudy and Daisy: Steak & Eggs with fresh garden Oregano and a few dried Sprats thrown in for good measure. We are trying to build Rudy up; he lost some weight due to a recurring infection: Beef and egg are good for protein, fish for the Omega 3 fatty acids, and Oregano is a natural antibacterial/antimicrobial; now voila – the breakfast of champions.

@PBesso It's because they're too young to remember that Plymouth, had a beautiful slant six that was a very robust engine. But seriously? I like the old series wild, wild west. I have it on disc. As I watch it I'm struck immediately by the sophistication of the chosen dialogues. We have been dumbed down in this country, it's an inescapable conclusion when a show for kids points that fact out clearly.

Can we protect ourselves from manipulation if we don't understand basic ? "Knowledgeable audience may be unfamiliar with the word valiant." What? Dumbing down language puts us at risk of manipulation. Nuance and context are crucial in understanding the content we consume.
