This is either utterly terrifying or adorably cute, depending on your point of reference … 🥰
@A_Jay_Adler
Would you perchance be referring to the United States of America? … 🙄

So far this week, Argentina convicted a vice-president, former president of corruption, Germany thwarted a coup and arrested its plotters, & Peru arrested a President in the process of attempting a coup.
And the beacon of democracy?

For seven years, well-meaning Republicans have predicted, or hoped, that Trump’s despicable conduct would turn the GOP against him. His coup attempt didn’t do it. His vow to pardon the criminals of January 6th didn’t do it. His dinner with antisemites didn’t do it. Now his explicit attack on the Constitution has failed to do it. At some point, we have to face the underlying threat to our republic. It’s not just Trump. It’s a party that will rationalize anything
Thanks @TheresaVermont for pointing out that the signature link didn’t work. I have changed it so that you can sign it. Anybody else who tried but couldn’t sign The Petition to Safeguard the Constitution (in the image) or who would like to sign it now, please click the link (and share it) to fight Trump’s or any future President’s attempt to “suspend” or “terminate” the Constitution http://bit.ly/3P7fqR8
One of the tings I really do love about CoSo is the absence of the artificial influencers. I don't mind people trying to promote their own books or art, but influensers be damned
I prefer real people with real though and issues sharing things about real life, different cultures. Listning and learning. I grew up with bilateral cultures and understand there's many different ways to organize your life. It's never a case of being right or wrong there are many different shades to life.
“There are those who would look at the outcome of this race and say that there's no voter suppression in Georgia. Let me be clear. Just because people endured long lines, that wrapped around buildings, some blocks long. Just because they endured the rain and the cold and all kind of tricks in order to vote, it doesn't mean that voter suppression does not exist. It simply means that you the people have decided that your voices will not be silenced.” — Raphael Warnock #RunoffGA
I am grateful that Warnock has defeated Walker in the Georgia runoff. However, I am deeply disgusted to see how close it was. There were two candidates and by every measurable metric applicable to the job one was vastly superior to the other. Despite that, and against your own self-interest, almost half of you voted for the other guy. It's just truly despicable.

In view of Senator Raphael Warnock’s victory in Georgia, I think we can have a wee celebration, don’t you think?
