A plenary session of the COP27 climate summit approved a deal on Sunday covering funding arrangements for loss and damage from climate change suffered by vulnerable countries.

@DJNoneYa I certainly hope that this will be implemented with actual figures and obligations so affected countries won't feel like they're receiving alms when the support comes, and the drivers of climate change finally realize that the cost of climate breakdown is far higher than the cost of mitigating it. (Kinda like Covid, who would have thought ...)
