I noted while reading this that it could be a decent analogy for how conservatives operate. Using Pierre Poilievre as an example - his whole schtick is declaring Canada is broken, it's all Trudeau's fault and only he andthe CPC can provide the 'cure". When i n reality if they ever again gain majority power they will dismantle everything good for the average Canadian and hand it to the 1% and foreign entities.
