Nobody who knows anything much about the history of Christianity and Judaism could believe the Bible (Torah, etc) hasn't seen numerous revisions, edits, etc.

Heck, the oldest versions of the Talmud date back to around the time of the Babylonian captivity, so before that, everything was passed along orally in one of the older, longest running games of telephone every played.
