It wouldn't surprise me in the least if what the Arkansas AG is suing over is true.

Chinese online shopping giant Temu is facing a lawsuit filed by State of Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin, alleging that the retailer’s mobile app spies on users.

“Temu purports to be an online shopping platform, but it is dangerous malware, surreptitiously granting itself access to virtually all data on a user’s cellphone.”

Whether it's spyware or not, they sell products made with child and slave labor.

No doubt that Temu is sus beyond comprehension. However, I find it utterly embarrassing and laughable that the complainant is the AG of a state whose overall .g*v network security is a bad joke.

@NorthernInvader

i suspect it's true. it's a great way to spy on people and gather information.

i've stopped getting apps.
