@Nick_Searles Michael Bloomberg is not a Democrat. He's a greedy oligarch. He can put all the D's next to his name he wants.
@Nick_Searles He's already tried to buy a presidency, and he didn't do that to help, he did it for the same reason people like Trump and Putin do it. For the same reason people used to stab and poison and pay bribes to become pope or other high office back in the day.
Billionnaires don't help because they're helping. They
"help" because it lets them _pretend_ to help while they see if we have any loose change or can pull another all-nighter.
They do it so we'll let them get away with greed.
@AskTheDevil Well, my Plan B is anyone on the Left with his money. I actually don't trust any humans to do the right things often. Our stuff will forever be for sale. But this still beats the hell out of Musk and Mnuchin types.
@Nick_Searles My point I hope to make is he is a Musk and Mnuchin type. They each just have different levels of skill or level of communication. Different images.
Different brands.
Those people are not like us. Those are serious outliers from any sort of norms applicable to most people.
They do not think like you, they do not think they are like you - you are a resource to be exploited or controlled. It's no wonder there's those conspiracy theories about reptile-aliens. They kinda act like it.

@Nick_Searles Ha ha! I wouldn't trust myself to drive on _anything_. But I've known people who are apparently fine driving on all sorts of things that would impair me.

We do not need to rely on generous billionnaires to save us. We need to get rid of them.
They do not do these things to help us, they do them to get more power over us and take more wealth.
He's not your friend or ally. He's our enemy. He's a different bully fighting with other bullies over our lunch money. He'd use TikTok to harm and manipulate us and get rich same as the other billionaires.
