Sunrise
The breeze is touching at the windows.
The fog is exiting my head.
I’ll be laying here till, who knows?
One more light turn in my bed.
Now I see the shades light up
So slowly all around the edge.
The dawn is here.
I can see the sunrise once again.
Slippers on & I now do a shuffle.
Breakfast soon with my tea.
I turn my head to take a look.
There seems to be clouds blocking me.
I now head to my recliner.
Turn my head; see the progress.
Becoming very clear
There is a sunrise once again.
Darkness comes and goes
When the sunrise overflows.
The warmth and the vibes
Are all I need.
All I want.
Is to see the sunrise.
Just to see another sunrise.
Winter comes and it seems longer
As the sun sets early on.
I do accomplish things at night
Because I think on them all day.
Comfy clothes on and yes, tea.
I forgot I wanted wine; oh well.
Now, pillow puffed I turn right.
And to set my clock to sunrise again.
